On Tuesday the 13th, our intrepid semifinalists will take an exciting leap into history as they celebrate the 125th anniversary of the iconic Hotel Echaurren in Ezcaray, La Rioja. What better way to commemorate this milestone than with a delicious culinary display? Under the watchful eye of chef Francis Paniego, with 3 Repsol Suns, the applicants will cook a special menu designed exclusively for the occasion. And best of all, this menu will be tasted by 36 very special people: former hotel employees, loyal customers and family members who have kept the flame of culinary tradition alive for six generations.
But that’s not all, because at this crucial stage of the competition, one of the contestants will have to face the dreaded challenge of double captaincy. Imagine leading the kitchens of the two teams in a high-level cooking challenge! The pressure will be maximum and only the bravest will be able to shine in this demanding scenario.
And as if that were not enough, in the elimination test, the black aprons will fight for a place in the MasterChef grand final, recreating a spectacular dessert created by renowned chef Jordi Roca, with 3 Repsol Suns at the famous Celler de Can Roca.
