Jennifer Lawrence was one of the great protagonists of the last red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival with a look that did not leave those present indifferent. The actress attended the screening of Anatomy of a Fall wearing a spectacular red Dior couture design combined with black flip-flops, a choice that she caused a lot to talk about.
“I wasn’t making a political claim, not that I hadn’t. I had no idea until it came out that there was a whole controversy with people wearing flats, or walking barefoot on the red carpet. I didn’t know anything. My shoes were too big a size,” he explained days later.
This Wednesday, Jennifer reappeared in London to promote her new film No hard feelings (No bad feelings), a premiere in which she chose to recover the heels with an impressive styling in the purest Old Hollywood style that was once again signed by Dior, brand of the who has been an ambassador for years.
Lawrence was inspired by Audrey Hepburn herself with an updated version of her iconic Givenchy black dress in the film Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Jennifer was radiant in a design chosen by her stylist Jamie Mizrahi, with the semi-transparent and embroidered body part that left a bralette visible.
An elegant design that had a silk skirt that combined with a thin belt that stylized her silhouette. She completed the outfit with long black gloves that provided a sophisticated touch and black pointed-toe pumps with a very high heel.
The actress finished off the look with some brilliant Anita Ko creoles that were visible thanks to her hairstyle: a polished high ponytail with which she demonstrated that it is a good option for the most sophisticated events. As for her makeup, she opted for shadows in earth tones and marked eyeliner and lips with pink gloss.
