Chelo Garcia Cortes. Kiko Matamoros. Kiko Hernandez. Bethlehem Stephen. Maria Patino. Lydia Lozano. Victor Sandoval. Eight proper names that do not need any introduction, and less for the viewers of Sálvame, where they are protagonists in their own right, more so now that the program is coming to an end.
Eight names that will say goodbye together with their colleagues next June 23 after the cancellation of the program after 14 years on the air; but that for them it will not be a ‘goodbye’, but only a ‘see you later’, since it seems that they will return in a new format: Sálvame Returns, as the journalist Rocco Steinhäuser has assured in Versió RAC1.
A new program, which La Fábrica de la Tele is still giving shape to, and which promises to recover the essence of yesteryear of the star program of Telecinco’s after-dinners in the last decade. Fresh, funny and with his typical occurrences that have penetrated so deeply into popular culture.
A format about which not many more details are known, except that it would have seduced the bosses of Netflix, the streaming platform on which this new program would be broadcast, in which collaborators can be seen traveling through Latin America to other programs of similar format.
Programs like Intrusos in Argentina or El Gordo y la Flaca, from Miami (USA) could be just some of his next destinations. It should be remembered that since Sálvame many connections have been made with journalists and programs on the other side of the pond, with whom all kinds of issues that were happening in countries such as Chile, Colombia or Peru have been discussed, just to give a few examples. .
It is unknown if Netflix will choose to make this its first daily program or if it will be another of its proposals with a certain number of episodes.
“We have done everything in Sálvame. Five hours and no content,” said Belén Esteban just a few days ago in an interview on the Club 113 podcast, with the youtubers Goorgo, Nil Ojeda and Werlyb, where she attended as a guest.
The collaborator was already giving clues about what was to come. “I am from La Fábrica de la Tele. Until they tell me ‘up to here’ I will continue with them,” says the collaborator. Of course, she does not plan to return, at least, until “October or November” because, according to her account, she needs to rest.
“We’re going to be together, but it’s top secret for now. This is not for me to tell,” he announced. “The only thing I can say is that I have some bosses who are very creative. Óscar and Adrián are two brainiacs and I I will continue with them,” he added. In any case, it seems that his future work could go beyond the world of television, since Paracuellos assured that he did not rule out streaming platforms either because he “loves digital”.
