Iceland often has the eruption of a volcano that leaves the entire world amazed due to the spectacular size, all the inconveniences it causes and, also, the images it leaves behind. And on some occasions, there is the attractive coincidence of being able to see a volcano next to the northern lights. In fact, the latitude where the island is located favors these atmospheric phenomena to occur more regularly than in the rest of Europe.
In the images that accompany this video news we see a time-lapse showing the erupting volcano in the Icelandic city of Grindavik with the backdrop of the northern lights that could be recently captured on the island.
The night causes an incredible contrast of colors between the warm ones offered by the volcano and the cold ones that the Icelandic sky collects; typical of an unrepeatable postcard.
