Gerard Piqué plans to travel to Miami next Monday, June 19, with the purpose of reuniting his children, Milan and Sasha, with Shakira. After spending a few days in Barcelona in Piqué’s custody, the little ones will return with their mother, and it will be the former Catalan soccer player himself who will accompany them on the transfer, thus following the example of Shakira, who traveled to Barcelona on June 4.
During his stay in Barcelona, ??Piqué has thoroughly enjoyed his children’s company, sharing special moments with them. Although specific details of how these two weeks passed are unknown, Piqué could be seen accompanying Sasha to her old school in Sant Just Desvern, where he participated in a piano festival with her former classmates. In order to safeguard the minor’s privacy, Piqué preferred to remain in the car, avoiding the presence of the media. After more than an hour, father and sons returned home together in the company of Milan.
Negotiations between Shakira and Piqué to establish the children’s summer vacation schedule are ongoing. An agreement has not yet been reached on how the periods of time will be distributed with each parent, thus ensuring that children can enjoy the presence of their father and mother during the holidays.
The lawyers for both continue to work in search of a beneficial solution for the children.
On the other hand, the wedding of Gerard’s brother, Marc Piqué, which will take place on Friday June 23 in Llavaneres (Barcelona), will not have the presence of Milan and Sasha. Although the Piqué family expressed their desire for the children to be present, it will ultimately not be possible.
The reasons behind this decision by Shakira have not been revealed so far.
