The church of Santa Eulàlia de Timoneda is a building of Romanesque origin, already mentioned in the year 839 and which was given in 1131 by the bishop of Urgell to the church of Solsona. Since the beginning of the 20th century and, as a consequence of depopulation, it has added that of Terrassola.
The church has undergone several reforms that have made it lose its initial image. It consists of a rectangular nave with a barrel vault and several added bodies.
The sacristy was also attached later. The door, voussoired and dated 1623, opens in the south wall.
The building presents a notable bell tower with a quadrangular floor plan in the Romanesque style with three levels of openings. The bell tower tapers progressively at each level. The third floor is later and the entire complex was restored in 1993.
As can be seen in this series of photographs in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia, the church of Santa Eulàlia de Timoneda is very easily accessible, as it is next to the narrow road that runs through this landscape of Solsonès.
