Montse Cervera, candidate of the new UCIN party, will be the mayoress of the municipality of Loriguilla (Valencia) after having received the support of the PSPV and Vox, whose mayor, José Javier Cervera -and brother of the mayoress- has been accused by his party of concoct a “false plot” and has been reprimanded since “he had an express order” to support the PP, the most voted candidacy.
Cervera, who was a PP militant, repeats as mayor at the head of the new party thanks to this agreement and the support of her brother (who was also a PP militant) which has caused Vox Valencia to open a disciplinary file against Cervera to expel him from the game.
According to Vox sources, the Provincial Executive Committee (CEP) of Valencia has apologized to the people of Loriguilla -and to the list with the most votes in that municipality, which is the Popular Party- for the action carried out by the Vox councilor, José Javier Cervera”.
He himself, they explain, “had an express order to support the most voted candidacy” and, in the same way, he was “expressly prohibited” from giving his vote “to any other combination that prevented the most voted list from accessing the mayoralty.”
His performance represents for Vox “a scam against the will of the majority of the residents of Loriguilla and a scam” against the party itself, for which reason disciplinary proceedings have been opened “for his expulsion from it.”
Vox has also opened an internal investigation to “determine the degree of participation, if any, of other Vox Loriguilla militants in the false plot hatched by José Javier Cervera.”
