The nostalgic celebrate the return of the Grand Prix, one of the most popular and beloved competitions in the history of our television. The test and game contest is already in its production phase, and the other two presenters who will accompany Ramón García, the legendary presenter of the format, are already known. They are the ‘streamer’ and reporter Cristinini and the actress Michelle Calvó. Together they will start this new adventure, which seeks to capture the audience.

Cristinini is considered one of the most influential streamers in Spain, and in fact, she is not only recognized in our country. She was the fourth most-watched female content creator in the world in 2016. In addition, she hosts the Ubeat program Hoy no se sala and collaborates on Zapeando, so she is already fully familiar with television. She too, she works as a reporter at DAZN. In addition, she has a large presence on social networks, where she accumulates millions of followers. Without a doubt, she can bring a touch of freshness and modernity to the format.

On the other hand, for Michelle, it will be her debut as a host of a television space. She has worked in series like Mothers. Love and life, Disappeared or Love is forever, of course, although she knows what it is to be in front of the camera as an actress, she still does not know what it is to be a presenter. In the same way as Cristinini, she has also been a collaborator of Zapeando. Both have already had previous contacts with the world of the small screen.

The Summer Grand Prix will return to TVE in the coming weeks, where it began its journey a little less than two decades ago. The format will combine established tests that we all remember with others that are the most innovative. What will not change either is that there will be two towns from different parts of Spain facing each other, which will give a touch of emotion to the spectators, who will be waiting to closely follow the people they may know.

The program began to be broadcast on July 17 in the summer of 1995, with the name of Cuando calienta el Sol and the participation of 4 towns with less than 5,000 inhabitants per program, but in 1996 the name was changed to Grand Prix and also the competition model of the program for the current one, between 2 towns per program. In the summer of 2005, after 11 uninterrupted years of broadcasting, its last edition was broadcast on TVE (number XI). Now the format returns and promises a lot of emotion.
