Espanyol presented their kits for the 2023/24 season in which they will seek their return to the First Division. The Blue and Whites opted for a classic style for their season in the second category of national football.

This is the sixth campaign in which the Spanish brand Kelme has dressed parakeets. The first shirt does not risk too much. It maintains the classic white and blue stripes that characterize the team so much, with the novelty that on this occasion the predominant color is white, instead of blue.

For the second kit, they turned to ‘coral’ red, which on certain occasions has formed part of the team’s identity and was last used on the away shirt for the 2021/22 season.

Finally, the novelty appears in the third. A small blue stripe divides the shirt into two halves, with the predominant colors being black and white in homage to the kit from the 1996/97 season.

Espanyol will face their return season in LaLiga SmartBank with a lot of uncertainty. In recent weeks, it fired its Sports Director, Domingo Catoira, due to the poor results that have ended up sending the club to relegation. They also suffered the loss of their star striker, Joselu, on loan to Real Madrid.

The continuity of midfielder Sergi Darder is also still awaiting, who could reinforce Fútbol Club Barcelona in the event that the arrival of ?lkay Gündo?an to the Catalan team does not materialize. Thus, the outlook for the blue and whites for this coming year is filled with doubts about the team’s chances of returning to the top flight as soon as possible.
