Caravanning has established itself as an alternative to travel without ties. More and more people are joining this trend, whether in a purchased or rental vehicle. The range of models is increasing, so there is always an alternative for every need. And a good place to see, touch and find out about the latest developments in the sector is the International Caravaning Fair, organized by Fira de Barcelona with the collaboration of Aseicar (Spanish Association of Caravaning Industry and Commerce) and Gremcar (Guild of Catalunya Caravanning Entrepreneurs).

The president of the show and of Aseicar, José Manuel Jurado, maintains that “for brands, participation in the Caravaning Show is especially important, since it is the most important event in Spain and southern Europe where a large part of sales for the whole year. Below, we offer all the information available to date.

From October 7 to 15, 2023.

For the first time, this edition will occupy halls 3, 4 and 5 of the Gran Via fairgrounds, located between Barcelona and L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.

In this showcase, motorhomes, campers, caravans, tents, tent trailers, wooden houses, modules, accessories or trailers will be presented, as well as new offers, services, rentals and travel destinations.

The motorhome space will once again be the largest, occupying halls 3 and 4, where you can also see a wide range of caravans. While the camper van area will be the second largest, located in Hall 5 together with the offer linked to the camping and accessories sector.

Leading brands in the sector have already confirmed their participation. Thus, Adria, Benimar, Caravelair, Carthago, Comanche, Concorde, Dethleffs, Dreamer, Elnagh, Fendt, Ford, Frankia, FurgoK, Giottiline, Globecar, Hymer, Knaus, Illusion, Iveco, Laika, Mc Louis, Mercedes, Mobilvetta, will attend. Nissan, Pilote, Rapido, Rimor, Roller Team, Skoda, Sterckeman, Toyota, Westfalia or Volkswagen, among others.

The fair will have 5 thematic areas: Overland, where you can see a dozen camperized all-terrain vehicles; Destinos, which will bring together a complete offer of campsites and glamping in Spain; Gastrovaning, the gastronomic tasting space; Travelvaning, with a program of talks about routes and trips; and Caravaning Kids, the children’s play area with various proposals for the whole family.

Tickets are now on sale. Children under 7 years old enter free. Whoever buys their ticket in advance will enjoy a discount. Thus, general admission on weekdays goes from 12 to 7 euros; on weekends, from 13 to 8 euros; and minors between 0 and 17 years old who take the ticket will now have free access (later they must pay 6 euros).
