Joan Josep Pallàs, La Vanguardia’s chief sports editor, is the protagonist of the exclusive talk for subscribers that takes place on Wednesday, July 5 at 7:00 p.m. at Casa Seat in Barcelona.

The talk, moderated by Enric Sierra, deputy director of La Vanguardia, will allow subscribers to find out about Pallàs’ professional career, as well as exchange impressions on current sports events, paying special attention to current affairs around FC Barcelona. During his long career in the profession, Joan Josep Pallàs has covered multiple events and interviewed top sports figures.

Born in Barcelona and a graduate in Contemporary History from the University of Barcelona, ??Joan Josep Pallàs Martí came into contact with sports journalism from a very young age, writing chronicles and reports on neighborhood clubs for local media.

In 1996 he started working at Mundo Deportivo as an editor. Shortly after he became head of section of FC Barcelona and in 2011 he became deputy editor of the sports newspaper. In 2015 he started working at La Vanguardia as sports editor-in-chief. He also collaborates with specialized programs both on radio (RAC1 and Catalunya Ràdio) and on television (Esport3).
