Apple TV’s star drama has a return date: The Morning Show will premiere its third season on Wednesday, September 13. It will consist of ten episodes and its novelties include the signing of Jon Hamm, the Emmy-winning actor for Mad Men, who can be seen in one of the first official photographs of the season.

In the new season, according to the platform, “the channel faces an uncertain future and loyalties will be tested when a technology magnate takes an interest in the UBA. Unexpected alliances will be formed, private lives turned into weapons, and everyone will be forced to challenge their principles both on and off the set.”

And who returns in this stellar cast? All. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, protagonists and executive producers, will continue to develop their relationship between friendship, rivalry and directly enmity. In supporting roles, Nicole Beharie (Sleepy Hollow) joins Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman and Julianna Margulies. Mimi Leder remains as director and Charlotte Stoudt as showrunner.

Apple has also already renewed The Morning Show for a fourth season. Aniston, Witherspoon and Duplass have been nominated for an Emmy for their work, as have Steve Carell, whose character has been emancipated from the story, or Marcia Gay Harden as a guest actress. Crudup, who was nominated for the second season, is the only one who has taken the statuette: he did it for the first season.
