The acting mayor of Cambrils, Oliver Klein, has denounced the current head of the Junts list, Enric Daza, who was his Urban Planning councilor, before the Tarragona Prosecutor’s Office. He accuses him of alleged crimes of prevarication, usurpation of public functions and disobedience.
Klein blames Daza for having granted a building permit without informing that he was the owner of the property. In the complaint, the still acting mayor points out that the work should be “minor” and has ended up being “a more complicated reform” that he calls “illegalizable”.
Klein reproached his alderman for the events taking place in February, just when Daza notified that he was leaving the aldermanship and leaving his municipal party (NMC), to head the Junts list.
Oliver Klein has filed the complaint this week with the Tarragona Prosecutor’s Office. In the letter he denounces Enric Daza for a crime of prevarication, arguing that he “has benefited from a direct action” while he was councilor for Urban Planning of the Cambrils City Council. In addition, he also accuses him of an alleged crime of usurpation of public functions, since he considers that “it can be debated on what date and in what way” he granted the building permit.
Regarding the crime of disobedience, Klein has criticized that “it put obstacles in the way of police officers and urban planning inspectors”, when they appeared at the property last March, because supposedly the works were being carried out before what was planned.
