The well-known actor Johnny Depp has once again worried his fans after being seen walking with a medical boot and helped with crutches leaving a hotel in Manchester. According to the official version provided by the interpreter’s environment, the protagonist of Pirates of the Caribbean is recovering from a “painful” ankle injury.
The 60-year-old artist is currently on tour with his band Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup that the actor formed in 2015 with singer Alice Cooper and guitarist Joe Perry as a tribute to 1970s rock music.
Depp’s departure on crutches comes after his band was forced to postpone the American leg of the tour due to painful illness. The actor sprained his ankle while promoting his film, Jeanne Du Barry, at the Cannes Film Festival. In addition, the TMZ portal revealed that the star aggravated his ailment “by trying to force himself” during the tribute to his late friend Jeff Beck in which he participated.
According to this same portal, Johnny Depp suffers a broken ankle, for which his medical team has prohibited him from flying in the coming weeks. He “is fractured and his medical team has ordered him not to fly in the near future.”
When the media trial against his ex-partner Amber Heard ended a little over a year ago, the actor has settled in a mansion in Somerset, a town in the southwest of England, from where he now focuses on having fun with his musical career while waiting of new film projects.
