Sant Martí Xic offers charming sunsets in a mountain setting, as can be seen in this snapshot shared in Las Fotos de los Lectores de La Vanguardia.

This hermitage was initially known as Sant Martí de Voltregà or Sant Martí del Castell, but it ended up imposing the popular nomenclature of Sant Martí Xic (that is, small) given its size.

The lack of worship led to the abandonment and subsequent ruin of the chapel of Sant Martí Xic, until it was restored in 1984.

Sant Martí Xic is located in the municipal area of ??Les Masies de Voltregà and is included in the Inventory of the Architectural Heritage of Catalonia.

At sunset we see the sky dominated by the candilazo, a meteorological phenomenon in which the clouds show a wide palette of colors that goes from pink to the most intense orange, the tone that dominates in this photograph.

As part of the phenomenon of scattering of sunlight, in the morning and afternoon hours, when the sun is closest to the horizon, the light that reaches Earth is soft tones between red and orange.
