Except for the southeast, where they will continue to rise and can reach 42-44 degrees, the peak of this episode.

According to Aemet, the minimum temperatures will also be very high, with tropical nights above 20 degrees and even above 25 in the southeastern half of the peninsula, especially in the southeastern third and in the Balearic Islands.

On Thursday, a refreshment is likely in the eastern half of the peninsula, as well as in the Balearic Islands, this being more pronounced in the southeast, the agency continues in a press release.

The Aemet believes that the second heat wave of this summer could end that day. However, it issues a warning: “The temperatures will continue to be above the usual values ??in areas of the southern third of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands.”
