The Madrid Emergency Medical Service (SUMMA 112) treated three people on Wednesday for heat stroke, a 54-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman at their homes in Madrid, and a 66-year-old man on public roads in Alcalá de Henares, who were hospitalized in serious condition.

After a first attention, the three people were intubated and transferred on Wednesday to different hospital centers, the 112 Emergency service of the Community of Madrid reported this Thursday.

A spokeswoman for this service recalls that it is essential to hydrate throughout the day, especially in the hottest hours, to avoid going outside during them and to keep the house as cool as possible to avoid these problems.
