Two earthquakes registered this Friday make both Malaga and Almería tremble. The first tremor, measuring 3.3 degrees on the Richter scale, was recorded at 05:03 in the Malaga town of Benalmádena. The second earthquake shook Gádor, in Almería, and occurred at 07:26 a.m. reaching 2.7 degrees, as confirmed by the National Geographic Institute (IGN).

In both cases, as the unified emergency service 112 Andalusia points out, there is no evidence of damage and no calls have been received from citizens in this regard.

Both movements occur a week after another was detected in Algodonales, in the Sierra de Cádiz, which reached 3.5 degrees and was felt in various parts of the province of Cádiz.

According to the information consulted on the IGN website, the Benalmádena earthquake occurred at 05:03 hours with an epicenter at a depth of 56 kilometers, while the epicenter of the tremor detected with an epicenter in Gádor was 5 km away, and it has been noticed with level III in Benahadux and Pechina, and level II in Gádor itself.

In case of earthquakes, Emergencias 112 Andalucía recommends that once the earthquake is over, you proceed to evacuation. In the case of being inside a home or office, it is necessary to gather all the cohabitants and go out into the street, always using the stairs and with the use of the elevator prohibited. But first you must check that no one is hurt.
