A reptile keeper has been recorded caressing two large crocodiles in a video that has captured the attention of netizens on social networks. It has been shared by the TikTok account @dangerousanimals76 and already has more than 250,000 views on the app.

In the clip, a zookeeper named Juliette Brewer can be seen lovingly stroking two of the park’s most popular stars: two 200-pound crocodiles. “They love to be tickled,” Brewer says with a grin from ear to ear.

“They are looking for food, today I have nothing, maybe tomorrow I will, guys,” says the caretaker in the video. It is not the first time that Brewer has attracted attention in networks with his peculiar way of caring for these animals. Two years ago, the caretaker was a trending topic after hugging Darth Gator, one of her alligators.

The video shared by the Fountain Valley Reptile Zoo in California showed Brewer cuddled up on the ground next to the alligator, which is trying to get away from the keeper. This scene caused many users to show her discontent: “I love the passion for animals, but the girl is trusting herself too much” pointed out a comment.

Other users joke about Brewer’s knowledge, adding, “They’re not looking for food, their food is right there tickling his chin,” while some netizens remark on his bravery.

Despite the concern, fatal alligator attacks are rare, with the CDC WONDER database recording an average of about one death per year in the United States. By comparison, they found that an average of 56 deaths were recorded each year as a result of contact with hornets, wasps, and bees.
