The world of television has suffered an irreparable loss after the death of one of the ‘queens’ of television in our country. María Teresa Campos, journalist and presenter, has passed away this morning at the age of 82.

His death has shocked society and the world of journalism in equal parts. María Teresa leaves behind an incomparable professional legacy, and a million-dollar inheritance of which we will tell you more about below.

Her more than 50-year career as a broadcaster and television presenter have provided the journalist with all kinds of awards, recognitions, and relevant monetary income. After her death, it will be her daughters, Terelu Campos and Carmen Borrego, who will receive this inheritance.

During her best years, the communicator came to charge up to more than three million euros. Likewise, in each special television space in which she appeared, Campos managed to earn around 30,000 euros, in turn increasing her real estate.

The journalist lived much of her life in her mansion in Molino de Hoz, with 1,615 square meters, 12 bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, cinema and elevator. However, in 2021 she sold it for two and a half million euros, due to its expensive maintenance.

After selling her mansion, María Teresa moved to a penthouse in Aravaca where she spent her last years. Over the years, the journalist ended up selling her two chalets in Malaga, one in her name and the other in her company ‘Teteco SL’. The first seems to belong to her daughters, while data on the second is unknown.

His impeccable personal career would allow his daughters Terelu and Carmen to enjoy, together with their families, this great inheritance left by the queen of television.
