The actor and former politician Toni Cantó will give theater classes at the Ateneo Mercantil de València between September and December and will prepare several scenes with his students that will be performed at the Christmas gala of this institution.

The digital brochure of this course recalls that Cantó (València, 1965) has worked in various productions of the National Drama Center, as well as in successful series such as ‘7 Vidas’ or ‘Amar es para siempre’, and his facets as a cultural manager, director of the València Escena Oberta festival and his classes at the ISSEP or as an advisor or ‘coach’ in companies.

Part of his political journey is also mentioned, during which he has been active in formations such as UPyD (as a deputy in Congress) and Ciudadanos (party of which he was parliamentary spokesman in Les Corts Valencianes), and has opted for positions in the ranks of the PP in Madrid.

The actor held the position of director of the Spanish Office in the Madrid autonomous government chaired by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, whom he resigned in September 2022 to undertake “a new professional project”, and since then he has collaborated in media such as 7NN and La Gazette.
