Spanish families love to have pets at home. It is increasingly common to have an animal in our home, which is why the number has not stopped growing in recent years, especially as a result of the pandemic.

From 2019 to 2021, the number of dogs and cats increased in Spanish homes by 38%. However, despite being the most popular pets, there are those who prefer to introduce something more peculiar animals into their families.

This is the case of Charlie, a horse that has learned over the years to enter its owners’ homes while respecting its surroundings. Pam, his owner, says, “The barn is right behind the house, so if I leave the door open, which we always do, he walks in on his own.”

The video published by the account for animal lovers, @dodo, has gone viral after showing a most unique scene, in which the horse enters the house and walks freely.

“He’s a kitchen magnet. If I’m cooking or making something, he comes over and hangs out,” says Pam, who also shows how much Charlie likes to play with the sheets on his bed.

In a matter of days, the video has gone viral, accumulating thousands of views and all kinds of reactions from users who have been captivated by the scene: “Oh this is great, he doesn’t realize how big he is, he’s like a dog.” giant” or “Charlie is going to come in asking what’s for dinner”, have been some of the most popular comments.
