Real Betis made official this Thursday the transfer of the Italian-Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe Ramos to the Saudi Al Ittihad, which will pay around 22 million euros for the signing of a footballer who will commit to the Arab club for the next four seasons.

“Luiz Felipe is transferred to Al-Ittihad Jeddah Club after the agreement reached between clubs. The Italian-Brazilian central defender arrived at Real Betis BalompiĆ© in the summer of 2022 from SS Lazio and has played a total of 34 official matches under of Manuel Pellegrini”, Betis reported in a press release in which it “thanks the player for the services provided and wishes him the best of luck in his professional future.”

Luiz Felipe, 26 years old and a one-time international cap for Italy despite being born in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, arrived at Betis last summer as a free agent, so the entire transfer will be counted as a capital gain that alleviate the precarious economy of the verdiblanca entity.
