A bright fireball flew over the Granada sky this morning, at 4:06 local time, although it could be seen from many other places in the south of the peninsula, being detected by the Network of the University of Malaga and the Malaga Society of astronomy.

The object from the solar system began to shine due to friction with the atmosphere at an altitude of 92 kilometers near the vertical of the town of Fuensanta. It traveled 80 kilometers in a northeasterly direction at a speed of 84,600 kilometers per hour and disintegrated when it was at an altitude of 36 kilometers.

It was recorded by the Dehesa San Francisco station of the University of Malaga Network and the Malaga Astronomy Society, and captured in images by the BOOTES-1, BOOTES-2 and B4-Alhama observatories of the BOOTES Global Network (IAA/ CSIC), as published by Alberto Castellón, from the Department of Algebra, Geometry and Topology Associated Unit Institute of Astrophysics of Andalusia-CSIC at the UMA.
