Rafael Nadal has been away from the tennis courts for months. The last time we saw him compete was at the 2023 Australian Open, where he was eliminated in the second round against the American McDonald. The Balearic tennis player is trying to recover from his hip discomfort, although it is taking him longer than he would like, because in May he announced that he would not be ready for Roland Garros either after 18 consecutive appearances.

While waiting for him to announce his return, Nadal continues his work outside the tennis courts, as he confirmed with a photograph he uploaded to his Instagram account. In the image, he appears swimming in a spectacular pool in Mallorca, working on other aspects such as resistance and strength.

The tennis player would be opening the pool of his new house, a mansion located in the highest area of ??Porto Cristo, a district belonging to Manacor.

The house, built by the architect Tomeu Esteva, does not lack detail: it is strategically located on a cliff, it has a large pool, the largest terraces and large windows, which allow you to enjoy the incredible views of the port.

The publication of that photo would confirm that Rafa Nadal, Xisca Perelló and the son they have in common have already moved to their new residence in Porto Cristo, a coastal town with great sentimental and family value for the tennis player, who has grown up there with his family.

The Spaniard’s followers have taken advantage of the publication to send him a message of encouragement. “We are all waiting for the King to return to the Australian Open,” writes one. “We support you, Rafa!” say some of his main sponsors. “Thank you for this small sign of hope. We miss you! I hope you are well! I can’t wait to see you again!” writes another user.
