Cats are known for their enigmatic and sometimes inexplicable behavior. Although it is common to observe a feline playing with a ball of yarn or balancing on a railing, there are times when these animals surprise us with behaviors that escape any human logic.

Chloe, a peculiar cat from Houston, is a perfect example of these feline eccentricities, taking her behavior to levels that defy explanation. This feline has become very famous in her neighborhood for being a mouse lover. But not the surrounded ones, but the computer ones. In short: he is a real thief.

Imagine the scene: you just got home from work, you are about to turn on your computer and, surprise!, your mouse has disappeared. In the distance, you see a black cat escaping with your device in its jaws. This is a scene that many Chloe residents have experienced more than once.

But Chloe’s loot doesn’t end there. Jeanne Wheat, his distraught owner, told KENS 5 that it is not unusual for the cat to come home wearing other people’s t-shirts or even freshly laundered, neatly folded clothes. “I want to apologize because some of the items he brought are a bit expensive,” she commented with a mixture of embarrassment and amazement.

And is not for less. During a summer trip, Chloe decided to take advantage of the absence of her owner to raid the neighboring houses, forcing the windows to take some souvenirs. He has even been seen climbing through the sunroof of a car and has been caught on video red-handed.

Jeanne has done everything she can to make amends for her cat’s misdeeds. She has washed the stolen objects and set up a kind of bazaar so that the neighbors can recover her belongings. “I apologize on her behalf,” Jeanne says, “please go through the looting and get her things back.” Although the situation is somewhat comical, Jeanne is sincerely concerned and hurt by the actions of her pet.

She has tried to correct these kleptomaniac behaviors, but everything she has tried has fallen on deaf ears. There is no way for the cat to understand that he should not go to other houses and steal. So she has considered it impossible. “He is basically a teenager,” he has commented to the American media that have covered this case.
