The model and former Big Brother contestant María Jesús Ruiz made public this Monday that she had married Curro Rodríguez through a post on her Instagram. In it, she explained that her wedding day had been the “most incredible and happiest” day of her life “along with the birth” of her “pretty girls.” The couple had already announced their engagement at the end of 2022, but they had kept the wedding date a secret.
All this happiness, however, has been somewhat blurred this afternoon in the Telecinco program Fiesta, when Ruiz has given news that has surprised the presenter and all the collaborators on set: her mother does not accept her new relationship.
“When I left Big Brother we had a family reunion and everything was going well, but when the news that he was married was discovered on TV, my mother thought he had deceived us,” Ruiz explained.
The former Miss Spain 2004 only seeks her mother’s blessing, and that is why she remarked through tears that “Curro had already shown enough.” “This man lives for me. We are a super nice family,” she added.
