The Mossos d’Esquadra maintain an open investigation into a case of kidnapping in the Les Sureres housing estate. The units of the Operational Resources Area (ARRO) have intervened in the operation.
The man was held captive in a house on Fluvià Street and was able to escape. He went out into the street and asked for help at a neighboring house, from which they activated the police alarm.
The alleged kidnapping, a middle-aged man, showed injuries to his wrists, which lends credibility to his story and reported that he had been deprived of his liberty for three days. Following the statements of the victim and witnesses, the agents have initiated an investigation that remains open.
The Mossos have also been able to locate a vehicle near the Mataró Hospital, which would be related to the incident. But at the moment they do not provide more information.
