In this regard, someone confessed that she had extra help for those nights when it was more difficult to sleep, to which the presenter revealed her little secret: she takes melatonin pills to fall asleep.

Melatonin is a hormone that is found naturally in our body. It is produced from Tryptophan, one of the essential amino acids, transforming serotonin. Melatonin, taken as an extra, helps reduce the time needed to fall asleep, regulating the biological clock and even causing benefits in the body such as improving the immune system.

What’s more, Ana Rosa Quintana also revealed that coincidentally the night before she had run out of them, but that she had found a perfect substitute: “Yesterday I had run out of melatonin and I drank two glasses of wine,” she revealed. Additionally, her doctors have recommended that she get more rest. Starting this week, the presenter will not be present on Fridays.

“I have to tell you one thing: I’m not usually going to come on Fridays. Why? Because my doctors think what I do is very good, but this is very stressful and they want me to rest a little more.”
