You may have noticed that this weekly menu usually includes pasta recipes. And, despite the bad reputation that some fitness gurus and influencers give it, pasta is one of the most versatile, practical and even nutritious foods you can have in your pantry.

In addition to the fact that it cooks in a relatively short time, it combines with practically everything, it can be consumed at any temperature and it is one of the foods that best resists what we do when cooking in batches: store in the refrigerator and reheat later.

Whether in a plate of spaghetti, in a salad or in a soup, pasta offers so many shapes and options that it ends up being essential in the pantry. In addition, and although they tell you otherwise on the networks, it is a source of fiber and protein.

It is true that it is also a simple carbohydrate and, therefore, we have to consume it in moderation. But combined with good doses of vegetables, in adequate quantities and as part of a balanced diet, pasta has a well-deserved place in all kitchens.
