As expected, the contestants have faced numerous physical tests that could cause problems for the creative company, since several participants have been injured.
According to the BBC, three people have received medical treatment during the filming of the contest. However, Netflix wanted to play down the issue, highlighting that “claims of serious injuries are false.” The streaming platform made it clear that the contestants were treated for “mild medical conditions,” adding, “We care deeply about the health and safety of our cast and crew.”
The television show, The Squid Game: The Challenge, will have ten episodes and will feature contestants from around the world. The 456 contestants will be part of “the largest competition series in history, full of tension and twists.” As confirmed by the platform itself, the contestants aspire to the “largest distribution and cash prize in the history of reality shows.”
