In a week with three League games (Celta, Mallorca and Sevilla), Xavi has begun to introduce rotations into the lineup. To receive the Galicians in Montjuïc, the coach chose an eleven with a change along the field line. Marcos Alonso, Oriol Romeu and Ferran Torres, who did not start against Antwerp in the Champions League, enter the team.

In defense Marcos Alonso plays Balde, renewed this week. Gavi rests in the center of the field, replaced by Romeu. While in attack, Ferran Torres occupies the right wing position that belonged to Raphinha.

The one who does not move from the eleven is João Félix, scorer of three goals in Barcelona’s last two wins. The Portuguese thus adds his third game in a row as a starter, just like his compatriot Cancelo.

Lewandowski is also untouchable as an offensive reference. The Pole, like Koundé and Frenkie de Jong, have started in all seven games of the 23-24 season and are confirmed as Xavi’s backbone. For now, Ronald Araújo, who has missed five games due to injury, is waiting on the bench.

Against Celta, Barcelona line up with Ter Stegen, Cancelo, Koundé, Christensen, Marcos Alonso, Oriol Romeu, De Jong, Gündogan, Ferran Torres, João Félix and Lewandowski.

For his part, in Celta Rafa Benítez chooses Iván Villar, Mingueza, Unai Núñez, Starfelt, Carlos Domínguez, Ristic, Fran Beltrán, Luca de la Torre, Bamba, Iago Aspas and Strand Larsen to play.
