This Sunday night, the Generalitat Firefighters rescued two hikers trapped in a ravine in the Boí Valley (in Alta Ribagorça, Lleida).

One of the hikers fell about 40 meters down the Comalespada ravine and broke his leg.

The firefighters were able to rescue him with a crane from the helicopter and evacuated him before dark.

The other hiker was unharmed but trapped about 60 meters above the ravine.

Agents from the Special Actions Group (GRAE) scaled part of the wall, already at night, and were able to contact him. They took him down and accompanied him by land.
