La Promesa has become, against all odds, the ‘queen of the afternoons’, thus surpassing Ana Rosa Quintana and Sonsoles Ónega. After last week’s double episodes, this successful series will now have a daily episode starting at 5:30 p.m. With this, he intends to share his luck with La Moderna, a new series on La 1, and La Plaza, a magazine presented by Jordi González.
Now, Marcos Orengo, actor who plays Feliciano, wanted to give his first impressions about the soap opera after his recent arrival. Although this is not his first work in a daily series, Orengo explained to Semana magazine that “it has been a very hard process.”
It seems that nerves almost played tricks on the young 27-year-old actor. And being part of the cast of one of the most acclaimed series of the moment has not been easy for him. “At first he was so nervous that it was difficult for me to vocalize,” he told the aforementioned media.
With a producer father and a screenwriter mother, Marcos Orengo has been linked to the world of acting throughout his life. Even so, that does not mean that he has respect for his work. Among his confessions, the actor has assured that he did not think that he could manage to embody Feliciano. “He is a man of the people, rude and with very little culture, something that is quite far from me,” he expressed.
But if there’s one thing he wanted to do, it’s talk about his filming partners. “Working with actors of the stature of Joaquín Climent, María Castro, Andrea del Río or Antonio Velázquez scared me very much,” he stated for the magazine. Even so, he wanted to make it clear that they welcomed him in the best possible way and as one of the family.
Upon his arrival at La Promesa, Feliciano falls in love with Teresa, a character played by Andrea del Río. But not everything is what it seems. Likewise, he wanted to reveal that both her character, his partner’s character, and some others, keep a secret. Something that will be discovered over time.
It is not the first TVE series in which Marcos Orengo appears. Serving and protecting helped him play Bruno, Beatriz Velasco’s boyfriend. On the other hand, in 2003 he participated in Black Moon, his first series when he was only seven years old. However, his career seems to be taking off now, and thanks to Feliciano.
But his passion is not only focused on the world of the small screen. Orengo began taking theater classes when he was 17, which made him spend another seven years in this type of theater. Now, he is willing to continue learning other things, such as dancing, and become a theater producer.
