Moment of satisfaction this Thursday for the eight winners of the second edition of the Les 7 Meravelles de Catalunya photography contest, who collected their well-deserved trophy with their winning photo incorporated and their prize, consisting of a batch of six bottles of Catalan wines from Gourmet La Avant-garde and, for one of them, also an iPhone 14.

Enric Sierra, deputy director of La Vanguardia, opened the event by thanking all those who have sent photographs in this edition: “For us it is tremendously exciting to see how our subscribers and readers actively participate in the newspaper.” He also thanked the collaboration of the two sponsors, Reale Seguros and Naturgy, who also gave up their auditorium to celebrate this delivery ceremony.

This year’s winners have been in their different categories: Francesc Hervías (Monument: Puigagut Sanctuary); Amador Vilalta (Eco: Delta de l’Ebre), Arnau Padilla (Urban: Gothic Quarter of Barcelona); Alejandro Corral (Nature: Montserrat), David Pérez (History: Montferri); Núria Morte (Tradition: Vilanova i la Geltrú), Víctor Manuel López (Gastronomy: L’Escala) and Luis Ayora (Photograph most voted by readers: La Pasiphae de Vilanova i la Geltrú).

All of them, with the exception of Víctor Manuel López, who could not attend the event, collected their awards with a big smile from the hands of Nuria Rodríguez, director of Environment and Social Responsibility at Naturgy, and Pilar Suárez-Inclán, director of Institutional Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility of Reale Seguros.
