A spectacular column of smoke turns the sky over the Barcelona town of Montcada i Reixac black. The cause is a massive fire that has affected a warehouse in the town since this Monday at noon and is burning tires, as reported by the Generalitat Firefighters through a tweet.
Up to ten ground crews and a bomber helicopter have been dispatched to the fire, which also burns vegetation. The notice came around 1:38 p.m. and, for the moment, there are no affected people.
Civil Protection recommends closing doors and windows for people with respiratory problems if they notice discomfort from the smoke from the fire.
