The Municipal Police of Madrid have arrested a man and a woman, who are a couple, when they were allegedly trafficking 13 grams of marijuana in the middle of the street in the Madrid district of Villaverde.
The arrests took place last Wednesday around 9:30 p.m. on the Alberto Palacios promenade, when a camouflaged patrol saw how the man, a 27-year-old Ecuadorian, was carrying out a drug exchange in front of the entrance to his house, police sources report. .
The agents followed the buyer, who was carrying a small plastic bag with marijuana, and the seller, who was carrying a 50-euro bill in a fanny pack, which he allegedly obtained in exchange for the drug.
They finally arrested this second man and watched as a nervous woman threw a plastic bag into a container in front of the portal where the drug sale had taken place.
When inspecting the trash, agents found another bag of marijuana and a precision scale.
The woman, a 40-year-old Honduran woman and the man’s partner, was also detained, both for an alleged crime against public health.
The agents seized a total of 13 grams of marijuana which, as they were able to verify during the arrest, was intended for sale.
