Ana Rosa Quintana’s program, TardeAR, started the week with one of the most anticipated reunions between two of her collaborators. On Monday afternoon, Vicky Martín Berrocal and Manuel Díaz ‘El Cordobés’ saw each other for the first time on a television program after more than 27 years since their high-profile wedding.

Those who were husband and wife are two of the usual faces on the current affairs table of the Telecinco space. However, what no one expected on Monday afternoon was to see them together side by side discussing some of the most popular topics of the day.

”This is an example that one can get along well after marriage,” commented Paz Padilla. ”The last time I saw you two together on a set was exactly 27 years ago,” the presenter said. ”It was our last time,” confirmed the designer. ”But because you were going to get married,” Ana Rosa Quintana clarified, causing the guests to laugh. ”And we got married,” said Vicky Martín Berrocal. It should be remembered that the designer and the bullfighter married in 1997 surrounded by 1,200 guests. However, the couple ended their love story four years after the marriage and the birth of their daughter.

Moments later, the presenter emphasized the excellent relationship the two had almost three decades after parting ways. ”They have had a wonderful daughter and it is fantastic to find a couple who divorced years ago with a great relationship because they have a daughter in common,” said the presenter.

”I’m very happy. For me it is a very special day because we had not planned it, it has arisen and here we are because we get along very well and our daughter is enjoying it a lot and that is wonderful,” confessed the designer, who shortly after sent a message to her daughter in straight. ”Alba, here you have your father and mother,” she said. But what the collaborators did not know is that her daughter had already spoken about their reunion through her social networks. ”I can’t be happier,” she wrote on her Instagram stories.

”Alba is a being of light, a generous and hard-working soul. And I always tell them “congratulations on the daughter you have,” commented Paz Padilla. “Many times children educate parents and teach us to be a better person and I think Alba has taught us a lot,” commented ‘El Cordobés’.
