In La Vanguardia Readers’ Photos we can enjoy the beautiful symmetry of the Sils trees and the best place to appreciate it is around the pond.
The main trees that we can see next to the pond path are the narrow-leaf ash, the white willow, the elm and some oak. There are also poplar plantations surrounding a good part of this natural space.

The set of aquatic or hygrophilous plant communities constitute an important vestige of the primitive vegetation that occupied these tinned lands. The presence of the mercadolic, the snow lily and the forest anemone is notable.
In some cases these communities are quite unique and are not represented in other wetland areas of Catalonia.
