As part of the commemoration of the International Day against LGTBI phobia, the University of Barcelona has organized a central event against transphobia on Thursday, May 16, at 5:30 p.m.
The Faculty of Fine Arts will host the event “TransUB: conquering esteem, spaces and institutions” in the gardens, in which the referent in the trans struggle Tània Navarro, the LGBTIQ artist and researcher Rubén Antón, and the versatile DJ Àlex Marteen will participate.
There will be space for debate and dialogue, exhibitions and performances, live music and much more.
It will be held at the Faculty of Fine Arts and is organized by the Vice-Rectorate for Equality, Inclusion and Gender; Equality Unit; LGTBIQ Working Group; Equality Commission, and Faculty of Fine Arts
