A ray of sun has come out between the clouds today, at the Sau reservoir. And, with these first lights, the church of Sant Romà, illuminated, contrasted with the rest of the landscape and with the sky full of sheep.

Let’s see if these clouds bring rain and fill this reservoir a little, which is at less than 17% of its capacity due to the long drought.

Leaving aside the problems due to lack of water, this beautiful place of Les Guilleries looks surrounded by abysses. And with a specific ray of light illuminating the church it is even more beautiful.

The Sau reservoir belongs to the municipality of Vilanova de Sau, in the region of Osona, and is located in the Ter river basin.

The beautiful clouds “cabretes” or “borreguillos” are part of our popular proverb related to meteorology, with sayings such as “borreguillos in the sky, water on the ground” or “cel amb cabretes, terra amb pastetes”.
