More than 400,000 people have been victims of abuse by a priest or religious. This is what the Ombudsman, Ángel Gabilondo, said in the report presented this morning.
In this way, Spain goes from being a country with no cases of pedophilia recognized by the Catholic Church to being one of those with the most cases, since they affect, according to the study, 0.6% of the population.
