An emergency doctor at a hospital in Palma has been arrested for an alleged crime of sexual assault on a patient, having taken advantage of the victim’s consultation to touch her breast and continuously pay obscene compliments about her physique. The medical doctor, 66 years old and of Cuban nationality, was arrested by agents of the National Police last Thursday, accused of the crime of sexual assault. This individual has previous complaints for similar events.
The events occurred last Thursday in an emergency room at a hospital in Palma. As soon as she crossed the threshold and was attended to by a health worker, he began to compliment her and make obscene comments about her breasts and her butt, said the complainant and the person who accompanied her.
At one point, the health worker urged the patient to lie down on a stretcher. Once there, she felt her belly and pulled up her clothes without this having anything to do with the reason for the consultation. The behavior of the health worker already made both the victim and her companion uncomfortable.
