Camilo Sesto was one of the great artists of our country. The singer became popularly known during the 1970s and 1980s thanks to hits such as Something about me or Living like this is dying of love. Now, four years after his death, his name has returned to the forefront of news due to the recent premiere of his biopic, Camilo Superstar.

This new series premiered last Sunday on the Atresplayer platform. And although at the moment only one chapter has been published, the truth is that this new project is giving a lot to talk about.

On the occasion of the premiere of the series on Atresplayer, Andrea Broson, the singer’s ex-partner and one of the most important people in his life, attended the Antena 3 program Y Ahora Sonsoles this Tuesday.

The actress and the singer met in a recording studio in 1975, when the artist was in one of his best professional moments. It was then that Andrea Broston became the artist’s official backup singer. With this work union, the two forged a close relationship, which shortly after would become one of the artist’s most famous relationships.

Therefore, Andrea Broston herself wanted to open up about all these matters on the Atresmedia program. ”We started to be a couple because we started working together and one thing led to another, it was all very normal,” she began by saying about the beginning of the romance they had for ten years. Despite being a very normal relationship, the guest assured that the singer’s fans were complicated. ”They ripped out an earring from me,” she declared.

Regarding what Camilo Sesto was like in short distances, the actress said that “he was very funny.” ”In reality, people don’t know him, Camilo played jokes all the time, he told phenomenal jokes (…) he dedicated himself to scaring people,” said Broston.

Furthermore, the showgirl claimed that the singer never had the intention of starting a family with her. “He told me that ‘it wasn’t the time and that he didn’t feel like it,'” she asserted. Likewise, the actress revealed that the interpreter was very different in public and in private. And although the singer never publicly confirmed his affair, the showgirl confirmed that they both had an open relationship, where the two explored their sexuality. ”Camilo was bisexual,” Andrea Broston confessed.
