The most romantic restaurant on television, First Dates, closed its doors again for another week. On Friday night, a new batch of diners showed up to the space presented by Carlos Sobera with the aim of living an unforgettable evening. Two of the protagonists of the program were Rodrigo and Hande.
The 32-year-old Argentine bachelor, living in Barcelona, ??began his presentation by saying that two of his passions were theater and dance; and that he had been living in Barcelona for more than five years. ”I love it, I’m very happy there,” he declared. He showed up to the program without expectations, but he clarified that for him it was essential that the girl be a smiling, positive and lively person.
Her date was Hande, a 32-year-old single Turkish woman living in Vigo, who wanted to meet a person with a different nationality to learn everything about that culture. ”As soon as I saw her I thought that she had good hair and that she could be my girl, she has something,” declared the bachelor.
After learning about their hometowns and confessing how nervous they were, the singles discovered that they had something in common: they worked as programmers. Moments later, the presenter accompanied the couple to his table, where Hande began the evening talking about his travels. And the single woman was at the airport every now and then due to her work commitments. ”The fact that I know so many cultures is something that attracts me, because knowing many places makes you open your mind,” he confessed.
For his part, the bachelor confessed that his great passions were theater and dance. An artistic side that he also had in common with the single woman, who confessed to playing the piano and guitar. ”We have many things in common, I liked it a lot,” the Argentine stressed.
At one point during the evening, Hande chose to clarify to his date the cultural differences between Turkey and Spain. ”Things are different. We are not very closed, but not very open either. I have friends with open relationships in Turkey, but in Spain it is more common,’ he explained while confessing that for her an open relationship was unthinkable. ”Me too, I’m very romantic and open, but not in that sense. I have no problems showing my affection. Adding more people is not my thing,” he said.
On the other hand, Hande said that he did not have a prototype of a man either, which caused Rodrigo to joke about his physical appearance. “With a lot of hair?”, he said, laughing. “I have no problem with that,” she replied. However, what the Argentine did not expect was Hande’s next idea. “If you want, we can go to Turkey.” because of the hair,” he commented while bursting out laughing. “I can fix a place for you, but without hair you’re fine,” he continued. In the final decision, both showed their desire to continue getting to know each other.
