If you have to point out one space in the house as the most problematic when it comes to keeping clean, it would probably be the kitchen. This is because it is not only used daily, but every day it gets dirty, absorbs odors and, in certain corners and places, dirt accumulates. And, above all, fat. Therefore, cleaning kitchen furniture, to which all that grime tends to adhere, is an especially laborious task if it is not undertaken every so often and with appropriate products.

The countertop is usually luckier, since it is common to receive much more frequent and thorough cleaning. But this is not the case with kitchen furniture and its handles, where grease accumulates if they are not cleaned as they should, and from time to time. Sooner or later you have to undertake the task of getting rid of kitchen grease, a task that will be easier if you have a series of basic tips.

Cleaning kitchen furniture should be done at least every two or three months. At least if what you want is to make use of a space that is hygienic and, in addition, ensure that all its elements are kept in the best possible condition for the maximum time. The longer it is allowed to pass, the more grease and dirt will accumulate and the more thoroughly it will have to be cleaned.

There are different specialized products to carry out this task, although the most recommended will always be the classic mixture of warm water and soap. Although, in certain cases, it may be necessary to resort to other products, such as vinegar if the furniture handles have lost their shine. It is not advisable to use more aggressive ones such as degreasers, as they could damage the furniture. Better to opt for specialized cleaning products.

Cleaning must be from the inside to the outside. Therefore, the first thing will be to empty the inside of the kitchen furniture and clean it well with the mixture of soap and water and with the help of a scouring pad. Next, you will have to use a damp cloth to remove any remains and, finally, dry the area well.

Once this process is finished, it will be the turn of the exterior part of the furniture, which is most exposed to dirt and grease. The procedure will be the same, however, as already mentioned, if you have steel handles, it may be necessary to use a little vinegar to restore its shine.
