Volodymyr Zelenskyy's Lego version raises funds for Ukraine

Citizen Brick, an independent retailer, offered limited quantities of the items. It stated that all the funds raised would be used to support Direct Relief in delivering medical supplies to the people of Ukraine. According to its website, the Santa Barbara-based humanitarian non-profit has provided more than 30 tons of medical assistance to Ukraine since the outbreak of war.

According to the United Nations, 3,000,000 Ukrainians fled their country after Russia invaded.

Citizen Brick reported that the online sale, which took place March 5, featured the unique items: the Molotov Cocktail at $10 and the miniature Zelenskyy figurine at $100. The goal was to raise $16,540 for Direct Relief.

“The minifigs were sold almost immediately. “We made as many minifigs as we could in 24 hours. The CB crew came in on their day off from printing.” The toymaker posted on Insta. We know that there were people who tried to get one but couldn’t. We hope that they will consider making a direct donation for a relevant charity.

Citizen Brick was founded by Joe Trupia, an artist in 2010. It prints its own designs for Legos. The company’s past projects include an unofficial Lego strip club, with zebra print couches and pole for 2014, as well as a Breaking Bad Lego set. Current efforts include a “Squid Games”, figure based on the hit Netflix series.
