Prince of Persia is back. The iconic adventure game created by Jordan Mechner has been in charge of kicking off the Summer Game Fest. The new installment will be called Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, it will recover the two-dimensional action of the original title and it will go on sale on January 18.
The first trailer of the game shows an update in the visual section, but also a gameplay that seems much more focused on action than the original adventure.
As the owner of the rights to the franchise, Ubisoft is behind this development, which will go on sale on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series.
The Summer Game Fest event is taking place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. The presentation organized by Canadian journalist and producer Geoff Keighley features news from more than 40 companies in the sector.
