One resident mentioned that eight cars on Southwest 19th Road and five cars on 20th Road were impacted. “When I went to my car this morning around 5:45 to go to the beach, I saw that my driver-side window was broken. It’s violating to have someone break into your belongings,” said one resident.

Miami Police were seen collecting fingerprints on the cars to gather evidence. The affected residents are now assessing the items stolen from their vehicles and arranging for repairs, which can cost over $200 per car. The sense of violation that comes with such incidents is unsettling for the community.
