Samsung Android February Security Update For Galaxy S7 And Galaxy S7 Edge Now Available In India

Android’s monthly security update for February is now hitting Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge handsets in India.The software became available wirelessly as of Thursday, but may take several days to roll out on all devices.

Users can check handsets manually to see if the security update is available by accessing Settings > About Device > Software Update. Users should have a strong Wi-Fi connection and handsets charged to at least 50 recent to install the software.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is receiving software build NRD90M, which includes the February security update from Google. SamMobile shared screencaps of the update, which detail users can expect a number of stability improvements and bug fixes.

Samsung is still in the process of rolling out the Android Nougat update to handsets globally.
